The "Check Engine" warning light came on, so I left my Matrix for diagnosis and repair. They fixed it so quickly that they had time to give the whole engine compartment a thorough inspection and reported that all was well. The windshield wipers had been needing replacement for some time, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. They noticed that and did it for me. Much appreciated! P&A are extremely easy to work with, especially if you have an older car, and have very reasonable rates.

What can I say? These guys were my guardian angels yesterday. I was up the street and when I got out of my car heard a loud noise and realized it was air leaking out of my tire at a fast rate. I quickly googled and found P & A Smith Auto. I immediately called and spoke to Eric. They took care of me quickly and effectively. While I know it ended up just being a tire plug, you can tell they care about their customers and know what they are doing. As usual, P&A was a pleasure to work with. I left my 2004 Toyota Matrix, with nearly a quarter-million miles, with them for an oil change and annual state inspection. It's my daily-driver "mini-pickup" for everything that doesn't require the Tundra's bed or brawn, so it is regularly "rode hard and put up wet". It has had no squawks since last year, so I gave them instructions to look it over well, and if they found things that needed attention, fix them. I knew they would call me if something expensive came up. They took it in the next day and had it ready before I could arrange a ride to retrieve it. Friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, quick, and affordable. It's hard to ask for more.

I?ve been coming to P&A Smith for past several years after a particularly bad experience with another well known Lexus place in Cary. Everyone here is very professional with great communication. On my last visit, in addition to addressing my check engine light, I asked them to replace engine and cabin air filters. I also asked them if they can find an extra screw for my engine air filter housing since I noticed that one screw was missing last year when I replaced the engine air filter myself. My car being of Japanese origin, it?s a pain to find the right metric screw :) When I went to pick up the car, Clint reminded me that the engine air filter was reusable and was barely dirty. Not only they didn?t replace it, they put 2 new matching screws on the engine air filter housing for me. It was a great reminder of honesty and extra service that bring me back to P&A Smith whenever I need some work done to keep my elderly car driving smooth.

A little over a year ago my son's 2006 C70 suffered a broken timing belt the P&A Auto Team worked with use to come up with very satisfactory solution saving us thousands dollars with minimal risk. They also went far beyond to make sure we knew what options we had. Unfortunately this vehicle was totaled in an accident a few months ago (no human injuries). Needless to say if I still owned this car if would be back at P&A for service whenever it was due.
